These webpages came to life during my work with my JABWT Master's thesis back in 2003-04. My thesis can be downloaded from here:
JABWT Master's thesis
The thesis gives an overview of the technologies involved in Java Bluetooth application development. Students and J2ME developers can use the thesis as a starting point for developing Java Bluetooth applications and to study the involved technologies. Code samples are included and explained for all important Bluetooth operations: device discovery, service discovery, service creation, communication and service record usage.
My supervisor was Professor K. J. Hole. See http://www.kjhole.com for more information about his courses, in particular his course on wireless technologies.
After my work on JABWT, my interests turned towards computer security. One research paper in particular deals with J2ME, Challenges in Securing Networked J2ME Applications, which can be downloaded from: http://www.nowires.org/Papers.html.
As a hobby, I run the website: www.themobiledb.com, where I make data from the WURFL project available om the web.
