Bluetooth Browser

The BTBrowser is my first program implemented in Java utilizing the JABWT. BTBrowser will discover nearby devices (if they are discoverable of course...). You can do a service search to discover available services on a device and have a look at the most relevant attributes of the service records. BTBrowser is now a MIDP2.0/CLDC1.0 application. If you installed the previous version of this application you may have to manually uninstall it before downloading the new version.

The following attributes will be shown if they are set in the Bluetooth service record:

BTBrowser has been tested on a Nokia 6600, Nokia 6230 and a Sony Ericsson P900 smartphones.

Download

BTBrowser is available for download through the WAP-section of klings.org. Go to:

http://wap.klings.org

with your WAP device. BTBrowser is approximately 13K.

Source code

The source code is now available! Download it here:

http://wireless.klings.org/source/btbrowser_src.zip

Note that BTBrowser uses some of the classes in the KlingsLib library.
